Money Tips
Do the story missions first
Story missions give the biggest cash payouts early on and unlock more money-making methods. Don't grind side content before finishing at least the first act — you'll miss out on tools and vehicles that make everything else faster.
Invest in the in-game stock market
Like GTA V, GTA VI will likely have a market tied to story events. When a mission tells you to attack a company — buy their competitor's stock first. This is how GTA V players made $2 billion in story mode and it will work the same way in VI.
Rob armored trucks early
Armored trucks spawn randomly on the map and are worth $5K–$10K each. In GTA V you could see them on the mini-map as blips. Same should apply in GTA VI. Easy passive income while exploring.
Complete side missions for properties
Properties generate passive income in GTA V and will almost certainly return in GTA VI. Prioritize missions that unlock property ownership early — those pay out every in-game day forever.
Combat Tips
Use cover constantly
GTA VI's combat is more realistic than GTA V's. Sprinting into the open against multiple enemies gets you cooked fast. Stick to cover, peek to shoot, move between cover points. This isn't Call of Duty — rushing equals dying.
Switch characters mid-combat
Jason and Lucia have different positions in the world. If one is pinned down, switch to the other to flank enemies from a completely different angle. This is the most powerful tactical tool in GTA VI and most players will sleep on it.
Always carry body armor
Dying loses progress and money. Body armor is cheap. Keep at least two in your inventory at all times. In tight missions, equip it before entering — not after you're already getting shot.
Wanted Level Tips
Get out of the search radius
When you have a wanted level, a circle shows where police think you are. Drive out of that circle and go dark — stop shooting, hide in an alley, switch characters. The wanted level drops when police can't find you for ~30 seconds.
Change vehicles immediately
Police remember your vehicle. As soon as you lose visual, swap cars — steal a parked vehicle, ideally one that blends in. Civilian cars in quiet streets are invisible to police who are still looking for your original vehicle.
Online Tips
Don't be a free roam victim
New players in GTA Online get farmed by veterans. Passive mode costs money but is worth it when you're just trying to sell cargo. Use it when transporting goods and turn it off for combat missions.
Join an organization early
Being a CEO or joining one gives bonuses to missions and protection. Solo play in GTA Online is slower — find a crew, run heists together, split money. The GTA VI economy will reward co-op heavily based on Rockstar's recent direction.
Invest in the best vehicles first
In GTA V, the Oppressor Mk II changed everything. GTA VI will have its own broken vehicle that dominates online. Watch launch week content — find that vehicle and grind for it first before it gets patched or nerfed.
The meta 💀
Story first, money second, properties third, Online fourth. That's the order. Players who rush Online before finishing story always end up broke and confused. Play the game in order, build your money base, then take over Online. That's the legendary.mind certified path fr fr.
